Our Story

If you are reading this, you probably know exactly how exhausting it is. When we first realized our child was neurodivergent, we were thrown into a maze of acronyms, waiting lists, and conflicting advice.

We spent our evenings with 50 different browser tabs open. We had one tab for government policy, another for the NHS waitlists, three different local council pages, and a dozen community forums trying to decipher what "EHCP" or "Graduated Approach" actually meant in practice.

"We realized we were spending more time fighting the system and searching for basic information than we were actually spending with our child."

We built NeuroHub to fix that. We wanted to create the tool we desperately wished we had on day one. A single, centralized dashboard that pulls the official government policies, the latest clinical research, and the lived experiences of other parents into one clear, scannable place.

We added the Observation Tool because we know how terrifying it is to walk into a 10-minute GP appointment and forget everything you wanted to say. We added the Letter Builder because writing a legally compliant email to a Local Authority at 11:00 PM is a cruel ask for an already burnt-out parent.

We aren't a corporation or a massive charity. We are just parents trying to leave the ladder down for the families coming up behind us. We hope this site gives you back a little bit of your time, and a whole lot of your sanity.

Transparency & Disclaimers

⚖️ Legal & Medical Disclaimer

We are parents sharing information, not legal professionals or doctors. The templates and timelines provided on NeuroHub are based on the UK SEND Code of Practice (2015) and the Children and Families Act 2014. However, laws change, and every local authority acts differently. You should always seek professional independent advice (such as from IPSEA) before making major legal decisions regarding your child's education or healthcare.

🛒 How We Keep This Free (Affiliates)

NeuroHub is completely free to use. To help cover the costs of hosting the website and keeping the data feeds running, we participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. This means if you click on a product link in our 'Resources' section and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at zero extra cost to you. We only link to sensory tools and books that are genuinely recommended by the neurodivergent community.

🔒 Privacy & Your Data

Your privacy is absolute. The interactive tools on this website (like the Observation Passport and Letter Builder) run entirely locally on your own computer or phone. When you type your child's name or traits into those forms, that data is never sent to a server, saved, or tracked by us. If you close the window, the data vanishes. You are in complete control.
